Each garden featured is a unique and stunning representation of the variety of landscapes that can be found within the city of Sandpoint. The owners of these stunning properties have invested much time and thought into nurturing gardens with personal touches and organic beauty.
Tickets are $15/person. Online ticket sales are closed; however, tickets may still be purchased from any of the garden locations at any time during the Tour on July 6th.
Introducing this year's gardens!
508 N Forest Ave
Over the years Robens has developed her garden by propagating with “pass-alongs” and seed sharing. Her always evolving garden is a great place to learn how to use the resources you have at hand. Raspberries, potatoes, clematis and onions…. come see how she has created a delightful mix of flowers intermingled with fruits and vegetables. The end result is a garden that flows beautifully and feels so natural.
618 N 6th Ave
Bursting with clever and quirky ideas, this garden started with plenty of well cared-for mature plants – rhododendrons, grapes and shade trees. Over the 30 years Dan has added many repurposed articles, water features and bits of art. Such a delightful and pleasantly entertaining space to spend a summer afternoon!
1526 Nicholas Way
Walk through the garden gate to a delightful treat! Come see this remarkable garden and learn what you can do with a modest space in only one and a half years! Using winding paths, raised beds and a very well thought out drip system, Melissa, who has recently achieved her master gardener accreditation, has planted plenty of flowers, vegetables and herbs and created a sense of abundance and tranquility in what could have been a very ordinary tiny back yard!
1611 Spruce St
This is a garden to inspire – an oasis in the heart of town. Completely encircled with privacy, this charming and well developed yard includes trellises, she-shed, and an artist’s studio, surrounded by flower beds, evergreens, a shade garden, and a formal vegetable garden. Her garden is a palette of colors, tones, shapes and textures.
1407 Cedar St (East Bonner County Library)
The garden project began in 2021 and grows and changes every year thanks to the generous contributions from many people and organizations. It is a shady gathering place with greenhouse, raised beds, vegetables, flowers and composting.
161 Indian Meadows
Beautiful flower beds, garden art, an abundant vegetable garden, herb garden and loads of fruit trees. There’s even a fairy garden developed and maintained by her grandchildren! Check out the collection of watering cans and ironing boards!
111 Greenwood Ave
This is two separate and distinctly different gardens to explore. The owner’s studio, is very Zenlike with well groomed shrubs, a vegetable garden, a lovely pond and water feature. Enjoy the second water feature and hike down to the waterfront garden. After 6 years of manipulating bedrock, Bev has transformed a rocky pitched property into a natural parklike hillside setting complete with rock features and carefully curated native plants along with bright spots of flowers and whimsical art features.
325 Deer Ridge Rd
A 25-minute drive north of Sandpoint along the lake is well worth it! The owners have mastered “deer proofing” while still enjoying a beautifully organized garden. Exquisite raised beds of every flower you would love to have in your garden, dahlias, roses, begonias, fruit trees, and herbs. Her deck is covered with flower pots, hanging baskets all protected with original ironwork. It’s a dream landscape in the country. A bonus while visiting is to check out the “G” gauge model train.
