Sept. 13 Composting with Ann Warwick and Janae Dale

Explore the benefits of making your own compost from home and garden waste to feed your soil.  This class covers outdoor compost systems and a year round worm composting setup.

Sept. 20 Roses for North Idaho with Marrion Newsome-Banks

Our climate makes successful growing of roses challenging.  Learn which roses thrive here, and how to care for them in all seasons to insure beautiful blossoms on healthy plants.

Sept. 27 Fall Mushrooms with Art Church

Explore delicious wild edible mushrooms found in this area in the fall, with emphasis on awareness of poisonous varieties.  Art will include instructions on growing your own at home.

Oct. 4 Grow Great Garlic with Martha Troughton

A timely class, as fall is planting time for garlic.  Learn what soil conditions are needed to produce wonderful garlic, when and how to plant and the calendar of garlic growing.

Fees cover the cost of venue, publications, materials and the support of non-profit activities of the Bonner County Gardeners Association.

We are unable to provide credits, refunds or transfers for any classes.
