October 2 – Herbs: The Good Ones and the Ones to Avoid
Instructor: Cari Hudson
Cari will teach you to identify poisonous plants of our area and then will discuss some common beneficial herbs, their culture and uses.
October 9 – Planting Seeds for the Garden
Instructor: Laurie Brown
With a shorter growing season many plants, both vegetables and ornamentals, need to be started well before the spring season. Laurie will provide tips and information on when to propagate plants successfully.
October 16 – Growing Blueberries
Instructors: Fred and Patty Omodt, Shingle Mill Blueberry Farm
Learn how to grow your own blueberries for great crops year after year. (We advise to register early as this has been a very popular class!)
Fees cover the cost of venue, publications, materials and the support of non-profit activities of the Bonner County Gardeners Association.
