Speakers’ Bureau

Is your organization looking for a speaker for a meeting or conference?  If so, we may have just the volunteer you’re looking for!  The following Bonner County Gardeners Association members have years of gardening and speaking experience and would be glad to share their expertise with your group.

 

Please look over the list of possible topics below and, if you see something you’d like to learn more about, contact one of our speakers bureau participants today.

 

Laurie Brown – BCGA Member since 1996

Topics:        Propagating Plants from Seeds or Cuttings; Growing Hardy Perennials; Growing Deer-Resistant Perennials; Fire Resistant Landscaping; Drought-Tolerant Landscaping; Garden Design (color, evening, herb, butterfly, bird, hummingbird, beneficial insects); Herbs; Annuals; Shrubs

Availability:  Available during the day and in the evenings Monday through Sunday but no early morning meetings.

Additional:    I do prefer to do PowerPoint presentations so a laptop projector would be necessary for those presentations.  However, I’m also comfortable doing most of my presentations using handouts; it depends on the topic and the venue.
